4 Ways to Get Books for Cheap or Even Free!

Hey friends!

Today I’m going to share 4 ways to get book for cheap, and sometimes even free!

1. First up is the library! I know, I know it seems obvious, but just give me a second to explain more. Once you’ve signed up at your local library talk to the librarian about what they offer. Most libraries offer ebooks and audiobooks through an app like overdrive. You log on with your library card info and you can reserve books to read on your kindle or listen to an audiobook through the app. If the book you’re wanting is available that way you can always log into your library’s website and place a hold on the book you’re wanting so that when it is available they’ll let you know. It’s a great way to read for free!

2. Secondhand books! I like to go to Mr. K’s in Johnson City, TN. I also recently found out there’s a secondhand book store in Columbia, SC that I can’t wait to check out. You can also find secondhand books on www.thriftbooks.com the books are cheaper than when bought new, and if you find a store close to you they usually buy your books you no longer want and will give you store credit or cash!

3.  BookBub! So this is a website where you take a short survey, and put in your email address. Once you’re signed up they send you daily deals on books they think you’ll like! Some are even free!

4. Kindle Unlimited. This is a monthly subscription for ebooks. I like to think of it as Netflix for your kindle! Amazon normally gives you a free trial for a month to test the waters, and then after that it’s $9.99 a month. I was able to read all the Harry Potter books on here! Plus they are always adding new books, and some books are even available for audiobooks.

Also if you have Amazon Prime they offer First Reads which is where you pick one book of their selection for free! Every month! I like to wait till the end of the moth to check some of the reviews so I know which one I’ll like best.

If you don’t own a Kindle you’re able to download the app on your phone or tablet and read books that way!

Hope this helps! If you have any tips leave them below!

Tiny Drops Book Review

Hello!

I recently finished Tiny Drops and thought I would share my thoughts with y’all! I absolutely loved this book! And a plus it’s on Kindle Unlimited so if you’re signed up for that you can read it for free. I struggle with book reviews because I don’t want to give too much information and spoil it for you, but I also want you to read it and love it too!!

This book was an eye opener for me on Type 1 diabetes. It tells the daily struggles and what people go through with this disease. This book had me in tears on multiple occasions. The author did an amazing job on this book!! She touches on things you don’t think of when you don’t have a disease- like pregnancy! I’m so glad I read this book and can’t wait to see what else this author writes! Seriously go check it out.

Let me know if you read it and what you think!!

In My Soul – Book Review

So this is a fun review! Not only did I adore this book, but I happen to know the author personally. I actually went to high school and graduated with her.

In My Soul is a book of poems written by Kayleigh. She actually has two other books on amazon as well! I’m excited to see where she goes because her work shows her talent!

I enjoyed this book because the poems are so real. I can relate to every. single. one.           She writes about motherhood and love and just being in the world today. Do yourself a favor and download it on your Kindle or purchase it from Amazon. You won’t regret it!

Book Review – Say You’re Sorry

I’ll start by saying I love to read. In 7th grade I won an award for reading so many books in school. With my current job I can read in my down time so I have my Kindle and use Kindle Unlimited! It’s a huge money saver for me. For $10 a month I can read as many books on their site as I want!! It’s kind of like Netflix for books. Plus they’re always adding new titles! So definitely check it out if your an avid reader as well.

I found this series on Kindle Unlimited and it seemed like a good thriller, and I was right! I couldn’t wait to start the next book every time I would finish one. It has your thriller side with some romance! Melinda Leigh is a wonderful writer. She actually has quite a few titles on Kindle Unlimited and I’ve read some of other books as well. The 4th book to this series was actually just released on the 18th of September so I’ll be starting it soon! I would recommend anyone who enjoys thriller romance to check this series out! If you’ve read it let me know what you think!
